Today we rode a first class train 20 hours from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, Vietnam. It did not feel quite like a first class experience… but it was definitely memorable 😉

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

  1. So I just randomly clicked on a video because I was bored, and I normally skip through videos when I'm bored. But I loveee this! I'm totally subscribing. I didn't skip once!

  2. im vietnamese and the train you went on us very luxury compared to other trains ive seen
i don’t live in vietnam but ive been there multiple times and i know how to speak the language

  3. I went on it not even first class bus that looked better than that. Like our bedding was super comfy and we had charging outlets by every bed, they provided free wifi too. No-one asked you to turn ur phone off when everyone was sleep since the lights didn't bother the other passengers. The only thing is that it was hard to sleep when it got bumpy but thats with everything

  4. Seriously? That's first class?
Here in Norway the normal class is like that cabin except there's one bunk bed and a mini kitchen. And thats for one person

  5. I am living in Viet Nam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City and I've travelled by train quite a few time. I recommend you choose the night train, especially the SE1, SE2, SE3, SE4. Those trains are much more comfortable.

  6. I would’ve brought so many snacks and just huddled under a fluffy blanket that I would bring and watch Netflix 😂
