Actually I like the GTB design concept and it's visually pleasing frame and canopy. I wonder if it is worth considering for you to modify an ARF to your specs to show the improvement of weight reduction?
I see many toothpicks go the HD route but still I do see a custom build is worth considering… Frame kits are available which could be a nice build.
Looking forward to the Beta 1s toothpick review. Hope you keep in mind the original toothpick specs you liked so much for 1s. I like the 28gr!

Gday Bob, great review mate i always thought diatone where smarter than that, so if you were to lose the hd camera replaced with a runcam nano 2 and a tweak the tune, it would fly better? and the nameless as well? 👍🛸
What HD camera with a DVR would you put on the 249 + Or would you recommend no HD on 249 + ?
Try SAILFLY props, I noticed those gemfans props are way to flimsy for those micros with that weight
Please review the use of RPM filters on a 3" toothpick. I have just built one at 104g AUW with RPM filters and it was flying incredibly well on BF 4.1 but will try it on RPM filters tomorrow.

The GTB 339 is a much, much better quad, and for somebody shopping for a BNF/PNP class option, it has to be that. Swap the props to the Gemfan 3018's or 3016-3, and just fly to your heart's content – it's a <105g 3", which is admittedly the upper limit for great performance, but to get something better you have to build it yourself (TP3 on 1204's is going to be better)… but running them on good 3S packs papers over so many of the limitations in terms of flight performance, I don't think it matters. Not having a split camera is also something I view as a feature – none really hit it out of the park enough, and for the cost of a PowerPlay from IRC, I can get something usable for me.

That flew terrible! Can’t believe it is that few grams killing the performance…! I still love the tinyhawk freestyle best in this category. Smooth, stable, long flight times. I only wish it came with a proper vtx and rx
